The University of Missouri has been chosen as a trial site for CABI's new VetMed Resource.
VetMed Resource includes:
Veterinary Science Database: a subset of CAB Abstracts covering all aspects of veterinary medicine back to 1973. Coverage includes companion animals, equines, food animals, aquaculture species, zoo animals, and wild animals.
CAB Reviews: current reviews on all aspects of veterinary medicine. Peer reviewed.
In Brief and In Depth articles: news items and more detailed Spotlight on articles. Also contains Prepared searches and Database focus on features to help users search the Veterinary Science Database. All articles are derived from authoritative sources and are tagged to broad subject areas to help retrieve further information.
Animal Health and Production Compendium: a global compilation of knowledge on the health and production of pigs, poultry, cattle, sheep and other ruminants. Covers the diseases and their control, as well as nutrition, breeding, welfare, and husbandry.
Calendar focused on veterinary conferences and other events worldwide.
VetMed Resource is geared toward professionals in the fields of veterinary medicine and animal health.
Trial ends June 30, 2008.
