Policy for Study Rooms in the Zalk Veterinary Medical Library

Scope of Policy

The Zalk Veterinary Medical Library study rooms are dedicated, quiet, collaborative spaces for groups of 6-8.

General Policy

  • All rooms are wireless and have electrical outlets.
  • Study rooms are NOT enclosed and are subject to the library noise policy.
  • Groups take priority in the study rooms, with a maximum of 6 – 8 people. If your group is too loud (see the noise policy), you will receive only 1 warning before being asked to move to Dogwood.
  • All rooms have whiteboards. Markers and cleaning cloths can be checked out at the front desk.
  • Users can reserve 1 room for one 2-hour interval per day.
    • Reservations are not required after hours or on weekends. They are first-come, first-served. Please be considerate of your fellow students and do not camp out for extended periods.
  • If you’re more than 10 minutes late, your reserved room becomes open to the public.
