Resources for Visitors
The Zalk Veterinary Medical Library is open to the public. All library collections (print and electronic) are available to you within the library itself. The entrance is wheelchair-accessible. For directions to the library, visit our Map & Directions page.
MU graduates who are members of the Mizzou Alumni Association and/or Friends of the Library may borrow books owned by MU libraries at no cost. Interlibrary loans and books from MOBIUS libraries are not included in alumni privileges. Please see Additional library resources for Mizzou alumni for more details.
Not affiliated with MU but want to check out materials? Borrower Cards are available for purchase at Ellis Library, located at 520 South 9th Street.
Off-campus access to our online resources is limited to MU faculty, staff and students. However, several veterinary databases and resources are freely available on the web:

Request for Articles
Patrons not affiliated with MU can request journal articles from Zalk Veterinary Medical Library and the J. Otto Lottes Health Sciences Library. See the Interlibrary Loan for Non-Affiliates page for more information and to register for an account.
