Reserves
What are reserves?
Reserves are resources that are kept apart from the general collection to maximize access for everyone or due to high demand. These include:
- Course materials
- Core textbooks
- Heavily-used items
Review our quick guide to see What’s on Reserve?
Reserves can be checked out for two (2) hours, and late fees will accrue if not returned on time. Items on reserve cannot be placed on hold or requested by other libraries. They may be renewed if no other patrons are waiting for the item. See a staff member for renewals.
Faculty & staff: Contact the library if course materials have changed since the last time a course was taught or if you have questions about what is on reserve. Please let us know if you prefer specific editions.
